We are a Department of Human Services certified domestic violence shelter that provides residential and support assistance to victims of domestic violence and their children. In addition to immediate assistance, we work with each battered woman to build a personal empowerment plan. Each step helps her take back her life through support, education, and life skills. Safety
Your personal safety is our first concern. Harmony House provides a confidential, secure shelter for women and children away from their abuser.
Shelter
Emergency residential services are provided to victims and their children. Harmony House is managed by a knowledgeable and caring staff that assists in providing food, clothing and other immediate needs of the residents and their children.
Support
We provide an array of free services at Harmony House. These services include legal advocacy, preparation of Temporary Protective Orders, referrals for medical and other assistance, and support groups for victims and children. Our goal is to provide the necessary resources for a client to become self sufficient and transition to a life free from abuse.
